How does one draft change across six selected modes?
How does SEO Blitz Scoring Model v2.0 evaluate the same draft when only the selected content mode changes?
Hypothesis: mode selection changes weights, minimum lengths, required cues, findings, and the publication-readiness result.
02 / Method
Change one variable.
We held the title, body, brief, model version, build artifact, and execution method constant. We changed only the content mode across six primary cases, then ran the complete set twice in isolated browser contexts.

03 / Evidence
One retained input, six treatments.
The shared title, body, and brief were frozen in one fixture. The input dataset checksum is 25a4309c4154128a4d40df745994edab45835b4ff9784e1e18ec20b3e4224841. The normalized comparison result checksum is fd753322a94fabd73abc6e5b1e744f173c4dfdaff74d6ff82310945cc11f0ba7.
Run 1 and Run 2 retained the same research-relevant output. The six input checksums differ only because the mode is part of the canonical score input.

Minimum length is one input rule among several. Required cues and structure expectations also vary by mode. The selected mode should represent the page's actual purpose, not the score a writer prefers.
06 / Interpretation
Mode sensitivity is a product behavior.
This controlled study demonstrates that SEO Blitz v2.0 evaluates identical text differently when the selected content mode changes. The differences come from SEO Blitz mode weighting, minimum lengths, lexical requirements, and structure expectations.
It does not show that one mode is better for SEO, that Google prefers a mode, or that changing the dropdown improves search performance.
07 / Limitations
What this study does not establish.
- One synthetic frozen draft was tested six ways.
- Results are tied to Scoring Model v2.0.
- No rankings, SERPs, Search Console data, semantic truth, or factual verification were tested.
- A mode score is not evidence that the content belongs in that mode.
- Results may differ for another draft.
08 / Reproduction
Repeat the controlled comparison.
Use the frozen shared input, select each shipped mode, run the production-artifact workflow twice, normalize the exported results, and compare the six mode rows and checksums. Review the Methodology, Scoring Model, and Limitations before interpreting the output.
